COOL GATE FACT:
A Navigator’s warrant seal is molded from bone, though what the bone came from is generally only known to the person who made it. Could be human, could be demon, or an animal.
The seals are authenticated by dipping them in blood and rolling them out on a special sheet of paper. If the seal is properly consecrated and warded, the blood will hold, otherwise it begins to noticeably boil off after a few seconds.
Vasha Fairzant’s skeletal arm is made up of bones taken from a human arm, though not her missing one; that arm belongs to someone else now.

Very interesting reveal, for a great many reasons! I like the explanation regarding the navigator seal, I’m sure that will be important to remember in the future, Chekov’s Gun, notwithstanding. 😉
It’s nice to see that Vasha is actually really concerned about Jeane, though if it’s simply because she likes/cares about her or if it’s more of a feeling of responsibility, I can’t tell. Either way, it’s nice to know that she’s looking after our traumatized protagonist. 🙂 Though it seems likely that it will be addressed soon, I also wouldn’t be surprised if the reveal from the previous page has set Vasha on edge regarding Jeane. Is it a case of mistaken identity, or has Jeane been here before in a different life, a dream, or time just works differently in this realm of reality? There’s lots left to discover here and I look forward to seeing it! 🙂
