I think I hadn’t even noticed Vasha’s golden eyes before. Her visual design clearly has roots in Gideon And Also Ianthe, with the hair of Sasha Blouse, but she’s clearly her own character by now.
(I hope you don’t take my pointing this sort of thing out as a criticism. I’m quite enjoying the chance to read a story whose inspirations I actually know.)
Actually funnily enough, Vasha is inspired by a bunch of things entirely unrelated to the Locked Tomb. Namely certain Bleach characters and Revy from Black Lagoon. I had not read Gideon whenever I made her design.
Okay…chopsticks and some kind of fork? Looks like some sort of rice, or mash, along with a kind of pastry or tortilla type thing, then maybe some gravy or meat and a orange root vegetable? I hope it’s tasty, whatever it is, because Jeane could use a break. 🙂
Speaking of breaks, it appears that Vasha still hasn’t figured out yet that Jeane is Not From Around Here(tm), which is amusing of course, but I can’t imagine it going on for much longer. I bet that will be quite the bombshell when it happens. 😀
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was, then again fried meat-filled pastry is a pretty simple food so it’s entirely possible they have completely different origins. Khuushur is a Mongolian street food, similar to Russian cheburek, I’m sure I’m butchering the grammar on both of these but there ya go.

im absolutely seeing Revy now that you mention it!
Ah, so that’s why Hadia seemed so scared. And why she lashed out at Jeane, she was picking on someone her own size.
Happy Birthday Soma! May your next year be a grand one!
She’s got a lot going on, Haddy does.
And thank you!!

Happy Birthday, Soma!
The pastry is khuushuur, or something like it.
Is khuushuur related to Jamaican pasty?
